FACIAL TAPING for the 11's - WHY AND HOW!




WHAT IS FACIAL TAPING AND WHY YOU SHOULD GIVE IT A TRY...

  • Facial taping is a technique used to lift and firm the skin.

  • The tape creates tension to pull the skin upwards to rejuvenate skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • The lifting effect creates space between the epidermis and lower layers of the skin to increase fresh blood flow and lymphatic drainage.

  • Facial muscles that are short, tight, tense, compressed = wrinkles + puffiness!

  • Taping lifts the epidermal skin layer to release tension and increase lymphatic drainage to encourage fresh blood and collagen = smooth + strong + vibrant skin!

  • Our lymphatic system rids the body of waste. By encouraging healthy lymphatic flow you are smoothing the skin, while also detoxifying the skin from the inside out!

The forehead and 11's are a great place to start with your taping adventure!

You can safely wear tape on your forehead for 8-10 hours. So sleep in it or just wear it around all day. I sleep in tape at least 3 nights/week. I also wear it for my walks, during, work day, etc! I am pretty much wearing tape all the time!

I like to do a little Facefit rolling prior to taping. This will help increase blood flow and circulation prior to taping. Also be sure to apply skincare serums, oils, etc. and then let soak in for a bit prior to taping. NEVER TAPE ON DRY/BARE SKIN! I usually wait about 10 minutes after applying products.

 

Here is a KT tape that is gentle enough for the face. Be careful about using any KT tape, because some contain adhesives that are too strong for the facial skin and can damage the barrier of your skin.
